The idea is to see if anything else is using that port so it's important that you do this while Lightroom and VSCOKeys is closed. The scan will be quite slow if you let it do everything so you could enter a range like between 4900 to speed it up. Then click on the "Port Scan" tab and enter 127.0.0.1 as the address to scan. Hey I was thinking about this a bit more and I suspect the "Upgrade Required" message is coming from the local HTTP server that VSCOKeys uses to communicate with Lightroom.
